If it wasn't because I recognize most of the places where you take the photos, I would never say they are taken in Barcelona. I'm from Barcelona, and I've lived abroad as well, and I do not recognize my city in the people in your photos. I feel no track of Catalan identity in the style of these people.
I don't mean to be critical.. this reflects that Barcelona has people for everywhere and it's quite eclectic, but it has surprised me a lot the feeling to be looking at people from somewhere else...
